Daniel Green

Daniel Green is a seasoned public health and emergency management professional with over 14 years of experience. Currently a Public Health Program Specialist at Wichita State University, he works to led initiatives to strengthen Kansas's public health infrastructure and has found a passion helping build the growing profession of Community Health Workers. Daniel served as a Paramedic before transitioning into Public Health Preparedness and Emergency Management, where he managed multiyear training programs for local public health, then designed and conducted numerous emergency management exercises and training programs while contracted to the US National Nuclear Security Administration, before more recently managing COVID-19 Pandemic response initiatives for Sedgwick County Health Department. With a background in education, Daniel holds a BS in Healthcare Science with a concentration in Education from Newman University and is also a certified FEMA Master Exercise Practitioner. His career reflects a dedication to public health through strategic project management, emergency preparedness, and effective training programs.
